NAME: Chris Parnell

BIO: Coach Parnell is a 1983 graduate of Oakland High School. Chris played college football at Laney JC and at Oregon Tech in Klamath Falls. He has been a coach in Southern Oregon for over 30 years. Over the years he has coached football, basketball and track. He began coaching at Henley High School and went from there to North Medford High School. At North, he coached in 3 state championship games, winning in 1993. From there, he went to Crater High School in 2004. While at Crater, he won the OSAA Assistant Coach of the Year award. In 2013, he began coaching at South Medford High School and had another opportunity to coach in the state title game. His greatest joy has been being able to coach both his sons.
