LEGENDARY COACH KEN POTTER WINS HIS FINAL GAME AS Team Columbia Takes Home the 2026 Les Schwab Bowl 21 - 13
The 2026 Les Schwab Bowl, presented by Express Employment Professionals, showcased the very best graduating high school football players from across Oregon and Southwest Washington on Saturday, June 27, at Lewis & Clark College in Portland.
In front of an enthusiastic crowd, Team Columbia rallied from an early 13–0 deficit with a dominant second-half performance to defeat Team Willamette, 21–13. The victory marked Team Columbia’s fourth consecutive Les Schwab Bowl win under the current draft format and capped off another memorable chapter in the storied history of the event.
Leading the way for Team Columbia was Silverton High School quarterback Chase Dominguez, who earned Les Schwab Bowl Most Valuable Player honors. Dominguez delivered a standout performance on the game’s biggest stage, helping spark Team Columbia’s comeback and showcasing the talent, leadership, and poise that made him one of the Northwest’s premier high school quarterbacks.
The game also carried special significance for legendary coach Ken Porter, who coached his final game on the sidelines. One of the most respected and accomplished coaches in Oregon high school football history, Porter concluded his remarkable coaching career with a victory, adding one final memorable moment to a legacy that has impacted countless student-athletes, coaches, and communities throughout the state.
More than just an all-star game, the Les Schwab Bowl celebrated a week of competition, camaraderie, and personal growth. Players spent the week learning from accomplished coaches, building friendships with athletes from rival schools, and representing their communities one final time at the high school level.
The 2026 event continued the tradition of showcasing the Northwest’s premier football talent while providing student-athletes with an unforgettable experience that extends well beyond the final score. From outstanding individual performances to lasting memories made on and off the field, the Les Schwab Bowl once again proved why it remains one of the region’s most celebrated high school football traditions.

Honoring the Memory of London Walker
Football is about far more than wins, losses, and the final score. It is about the people who make the game special, the relationships built through competition, and the memories that remain long after the final whistle has blown.
During the 2026 Les Schwab Bowl, presented by Express Employment Professionals, the Les Schwab Bowl and Prime Time Sports family took time to honor and remember London Walker, a member of the 2024 Les Schwab Bowl whose impact continues to be felt throughout the Oregon high school football community.
London earned the opportunity to represent the very best of Oregon high school football through his dedication, hard work, and passion for the game. While his time with us was far too short, the legacy he left behind continues to inspire teammates, coaches, friends, and family members who had the privilege of knowing him.
As part of the tribute, London’s family was invited to midfield where they were presented with his official Les Schwab Bowl jersey. The presentation served as a symbol of what the Les Schwab Bowl represents—a lifelong brotherhood and a community that never forgets those who have worn the uniform. It was a reminder that London will always have a place within the history and tradition of the event.
Surrounded by players, coaches, officials, staff, and fans, London’s family was embraced by a community united in remembrance. Together, those in attendance reflected on the impact London made and the memories he created both on and off the field.
Following the jersey presentation, a moment of silence was observed in honor of London’s life. The stadium paused to remember a young man whose love for football, commitment to his teammates, and passion for competition left a lasting impression on everyone around him.
The Les Schwab Bowl exists to celebrate the very best of high school football, but moments like these remind us that the game is ultimately about people. London Walker’s legacy will continue to live on through the teammates he inspired, the family who loved him, and the community that proudly remembers him.
